Self love begins when we start to care about the way we feel and the overall quality of our lives. Quite simply the act of self care is in itself an act of self love. It is when we honor ourselves and take full responsibility over our own reality that we glimpse the power we have to live a joyful and righteous life.
This comes down to the choices we make. Are you making wise choices that promote your love of self or do the choices you make lead to pain and suffering? From the souls perspective there is no conception of good, bad, right or wrong. Those four categories are actually one of our greatest traps that tie us to an illusion of self-deception and pain. The soul is eternal, and the karmic wheel of constructed concepts like good, bad, right and wrong will vanish in the presence of understanding, healing and true forgiveness of yourself.
Next time you are faced with an opportunity to make an important choice ask yourself what would someone who loved themselves do. This is about living a pleasent and enriched quality of life. Does your choice bring you closer to pain or does it bring you closer to joy. It’s up to you to decide which of those two you wish to experience. Whatever choice you make does not make you good, bad, right or wrong. You have free will choice to experience anything you want for your life. Although since we are on the topic of healing, the choice of pain is not a choice that promotes loving yourself and knowing that you have this choice at any moment to change your direction is of great importance to following your internal compass into a life that is most fulfilling to your soul.
Love of self begins to transcend all triggers you might have by external situations. You begin to care more about your present now moment and how you feel in that moment over the choice to chose emotions that lead you into more pain and suffering. Love of self begins to dissolve the patterns of slipping into the depths of lower emotions like fear, depression, insecurity, shame, guilt, jealousy, hatred, revenge, anger, blame, worry, doubt and despair.
There is an order to everything in our universe including love. When we place love in its proper order it begins to flow through us more easily thus circulating into the collective as our authentic presence of love becomes the gift we give to others.
Let us begin to get a glimpse of this order so we can start to understand how to make the steps necessary for allowing loving ourselves to become the centerfold of our lives.
Love of the God Self
Each individual is an aspect of God, the original meaning of the word God simply translates as creative source. Begin to understand that this “creative source” flows through you and can be directed into creating anything that the mind and heart desires. You are truly a limitless being with the potential to both imagine and create for yourself an infinite possibility of new worlds. As you begin to understand that the answers you’ve been seeking originate from your core, you activate a remembering of how powerful you actually are. This is a love of humility for you begin to witness that you are a unique individual yet equal to the god that exists within all forms.
This builds the foundation of love.
Love Of The Outer Self
Many people have the perception of themselves as just a physical body, although this is not the case. Each individual exists as 12 bodies that operate together as a unified whole. Much like the physical body has many glands organs and organisms working together to support the total function of a manifested mortal form. Everything that is being created within our perceived reality is first created within our other existing bodies. For many, these other bodies still remain undiscovered. The physical body that we are most accustom to is the end of the road where what was once ethereal manifests into density and material substance. Therefore in order to actualize our love of self, we must begin to acknowledge the presence of these bodies, with a particular focus on the physical, mental and emotional bodies in which the majority of our core issues are stored.
Emotional Body:
The emotional body is akin to your ability to feel. We live in a society that teaches their children not to feel. Ones who suppress their feelings eventually create for themselves both illness and disease when those suppressed sensations make their way from the emotional body into manifestations within your physical form. They do so by these negative emotions operating as a toxic poison when they are ignored and held within. Eventually everything that is left unhealed in our emotions will travel through our mental body to be expressed as a negative ailment in our physical embodiment. This brings us into our own determination to become consciously aware in every moment of the ways that we feel. One begins to realize in truth that not a single other can be blamed for upsetting us or making us feel bad. Someone might have said or done some hurtful things but they are incapable of creating for us emotional pain as it is always up to you to choose the feeling to take offence or not. If feeling offended makes you feel sad or angry, it can just as easily lead to hatred, which hatred of another is self hatred and a detour away from our goal of self love. Ones begin to understand that no other has the power to control the way they are feeling unless they themselves give others the power to do so by choosing to react with a feeling response that is not rooted in unconditional love. This can be challenging to see through when one is caught up in patterns that perpetuate the deep seeded collective program of saviors, perpetrators, and victims. All of which is just another trap keepings ones confused in the illusion of pain.
Mental Body:
The mental body encompasses your thoughts. Are your thoughts loving or are they self-deprecating? Since thoughts eventually manifest into the physical, what kind of thoughts would you choose so as to maintain a physical reality that is harmonious, joyful and pure? Would you not choose to alchemize your thoughts into that which promoted love of oneself? This is a process that requires the willingness to pay attention and gain self awareness of which thoughts you are allowing to ultimately become the reality of your world. This takes practice and patience, as it requires reprograming years of a fast moving momentum of negative patterns that would need to be replaced with positivity.
Physical Body:
We currently exist in a physical reality and it’s not often that people realize or take into account the magnitude of influence our basic fundamental needs have on our overall life experience. But if one were to begin to analyze what these basic needs consisted of, they could arise to recognize area’s in their life that may be lacking a source of simple yet vital nurturing that may be hindering them from their own desired evolution. When one begins to explore what psychologist Abraham Maslow once described as our hierarchy of needs, we can begin to see how it not only applies to ourselves but to our entire social collective.
So lets look at exactly what those needs are and if they are left unfulfilled, how does that restrict us from progressing into our upmost potential.
Air:
Do you live and work in an environment that has clean unpolluted air?
Water:
Is your body being properly hydrated? Do you have a clean source of pure un-fluorinated water?
Food:
Is your body properly being nourished? Are you getting enough food? Is the food that you are eating of a clean, healthy, fresh and organic, Non-GMO source?
Sleep:
Do you have a comfortable place to sleep? Do you get enough sleep, awakening feeling recharged and well rested?
Shelter:
Do you have a clean organized environment where you feel authentically safe from the elements? A place where you feel comfortable enough to relax and be yourself?
Health:
Is your body getting enough movement and exercise? Are the muscles of the body being strengthened and utilized? Is your blood flow circulating properly throughout your body creating an increase of life force energy?
Nature:
Do you spend enough time in nature? Do you get enough sunshine? Do you take a moment to admire the beautiful landscapes of our planet? Do you ever become awestruck by a gorgeous sunset or admire the ever expanding brilliance of our nights sky?
Social Connection:
Do you set intentions to socially engage with others, spending time meeting new people or connecting more deeply with your friends or family?
Time For Self Reflection:
Do you have time to dedicate towards expressing yourself through things that fulfill your soul, things that evoke a sense of joy and happiness to your life? Do you allow yourself to authentically reflect on the choices and circumstances you’ve created in your life?
If the answer is yes to all of the above, then wonderful these basic fundamental needs are being met and you are on your way towards your greater potential.
If the answer is no, now would be the time to make some adjustments in your life. It would be wise to begin making these basic needs a top priority until the quest for improved methods of nurturing and genuine nourishment are reestablished and you once again begin to feel a sense of strength, stability and fulfillment being recognized from the inside out.
If any one of these basic fundamental needs are not being met, then the foundation of your life is ungrounded and unbalanced. It will be very difficult to establish a good quality of life or to utilize your gifts of self-expression if you are unable to fully function properly on a basic biological level.
The tragic truth is that the majority of our society does not have these basic and simple fundamental needs met. Primarily in the pollution of our air, our food and our water. All of this comes down to choice. You may have heard many times throughout your life people accusing others or saying that they “don’t have a choice”, yet the truth is, we always have a choice. It may not always be convenient, but it is always possible to choose a new and improved pathway for yourself. If you don’t take full responsibility over your life and blame others or external events as being the problem, then you are buying into a belief that you are powerless to make the changes necessary for living a good life.
When one has these basic needs met, they naturally can begin to explore other qualities that bring out the best of our human nature. A desire to develop loving, bonded relationships with others and acting upon an expression of our individuality, our creativity, and our souls purpose for being here.
This expands the foundation of love.
Love Of Your Personal Environment
“Do you love your personal environment? Are you in harmony with it? Or do you judge and create anger towards it?”
“Can you love someone even if they don’t love back?”
In this order of love you are establishing roots into the dedication towards maintaining a quality life and strengthening your ability to sustain a presence of love with all that inhabits your personal environment. A tree with strong roots is able to withstand great storms. When we become centered in the love for ourselves we develop a vitality of inner strength allowing us to live an unobstructed life despite what might be occurring in the world around us. These are our life experiences and how we choose to perceive them. Do we allow ourselves to learn and grow from all of our experiences or do we allow them to run us into disempowerment?
This is learning to love and appreciate all of our experiences as an opportunity for growth. Learning to love everything that you’ve personally created and your interactions with others. Learning to love whatever talents, skills or abilities you may have seeded within you as tools for expressing your creativity into this world.
This brings us to the question, why are you here? What gifts do you have to offer? If you had it your way and could do anything you wanted, what would you spend your time doing?
Your talents skills and abilities are your tools for creating. Your passion and purpose is using your abilities in an authentic expression of the spiritual light within your individuality, living the truth of whom you really are.
What do you desire to learn? What do you desire to create? What inspires within you the upmost joy?
By identifying what our passion and purpose is, we can make proper adjustments into allowing that passion to flow through us as an expression of our individuality. Being open enough to share our talents, skills, and abilities. Giving our gift by being a genuinely unique and creative human being.

This strengthens the foundation of love.
Love Of Your Personal Outer Reality
“Love of Humanity, the Earth, the environment, and global healing.”
“How can you love humanity if you hate your neighbor? Or love your partner when you hate humanity?”
How do you interact with your personal outer reality? Are you one who judges others around you? Do you judge the illusion of authority figures? Do you judge your parents, or your politicians? Whenever one judges another, no matter who that other might be or what they may have done, it is always a reflection of the unhealed judgment you have of yourself. Become aware of moments when you might be swayed into judgment and make a choice to acknowledge that this judgment is not who you are but rather the beliefs that you’ve been programed with since you were a child. Begin to release judgment and replace it with compassion and understanding. Anyone who is acting out disharmony on themselves or another is the result of an injured child who grew up in separation and suppression of their own emotions. If you are able to see the innocence of the inner child of whomever you might be judging, you may begin to see that same injured child within yourself. At the core of every human being there is a pulse that desires to love and be loved. Judgment and condemnation is the denial of love. It is stating that one person is worthy of love and another is not. Everyone is worthy of love. If we can learn to love not only those who have been bullied, but those who are the bully, we begin to see the cycle of pain and destruction and can offer assistance towards stopping the cycle once and for all by replacing it with human kindness. If we want to raise our consciousness we must first begin by dissolving beliefs that others should be punished for their actions. Punishment is just another perpetuated cycle void of the presence of love. How is one ever going to open up to healing if they are attacked with acts of punishment as a result of their already unhealed wounds. By both our individual actions and our uniting efforts we can begin using love as the most powerful instrument for change. It is through love that we evaluate true equality. It is through equal rights that we begin placing the preservation of our humanity first. Without the existence of judgment, we allow others the freedom to be whom they really are, witnessing the true beauty of what is to be expressed as their most authentic self. If we can govern ourselves and then extend loving assistance onto others, we can truly awaken within our civilization a journey forward into our upmost potential.
Upon our personal outer reality we must also recognize and acknowledge the symbiotic relationship to that which gave us our lives to begin with. This would be the care and genuine appreciation for our Earth. Caring for the body of the earth in self love as if it where our own. In truth there is no separation, polluting the earth creates a polluted human, a polluted human creates a polluted earth.
Become a pioneer for quality and beauty. What can you do as an individual to add more splendor into this world. That which we give, is that which we receive. Share with this earth and all the humans that inhabit it the gift of your unique creative source. In return you will receive back an equal sharing from the earth and others.
Conclusion
We have many influences of deception that exist in the polarities of our world. Whenever one makes a step towards healing, towards self love, they will be tested by an opportunity presenting itself for you to choose to persevere forward on your journey or to remain where you are. The appearance of deception becomes less ambiguous and more clear as you commit to making choices from the wisdom of your heart, over the ingrained patterns of fear.
When we place self love into action we begin to love ourselves more then our desire for others to love us. This allows us to love who we actually are and not what we think were “suppose” to be. This allows us to actually truly begin to “live” our lives.
The essence of true love is service. In order to love or assist another we must first love and assist ourselves.
An empty cup is waiting to be filled. A full cup can fill another.
